Do prefer the older movies or the newer saga that's being made? I think that the newer ones seem to have lost some of the vigour that the older ones have. |

Lucas should never have sold out to Disney. They haven't really got a Scooby of what the real die hard fans want, I think the new ones are aimed more towards the young of today. I was 14 when the first one came out.

Lucas should never have sold out to Disney. They haven't really got a Scooby of what the real die hard fans want, I think the new ones are aimed more towards the young of today. I was 14 when the first one came out. I don't think I was alive when it came out but still. |

Same here, I watch them every time they come on. The first three hold a special place in my heart. The next three where reasonable. But I can't say much about the new ones.

To many things these days are to political these days. Many companies have to watch that they don't offend these days. And this has tipped into classics like Star Wars.

By far the older movies and the actors make them the best. I have seen a little of the new ones.

To tell you the truth. I've only seen the first one of the new ones and I was very disappointed in it. The film had lost all the luster and glamour that the first three had. I wasn't very interested, and to me if something didn't grab my attention then I wouldn't waste my time with paying (the outrageous cinema prices) to see the follow ups.
I'll probably watch them on television when they come on, and then I'll know for sure whether or not I saved money.

Older ones mainly coz I haven't seen the newer ones yet. It's on my to do list before Christmas. I have them all on a hard drive so going to watch them all in order.
